This series blends Suminagashi art with analogue photography, featuring a unique twist with cross-processing in slide film. It tells two stories of reconciliation and rediscovery in Germany and the Czech Republic.
What’s really special is how a jammed and broken film roll was saved through E-6 to C-41 processing, resulting in vibrant colors that were completely unexpected. The Suminagashi patterns mingle with the photo prints, reflecting the emotional journey and showcasing the surprising beauty found in what was once lost.
